SIXTA is pre-seed, backed by Encoded Ventures and Heavybit, and working with enterprise design partners. We're at the stage where every person on the team has direct impact on the product, the architecture, and the direction of the company.
We're building an AI agent that deploys inside customer infrastructure, connects directly to their databases, and performs root cause analysis that experienced DBAs would take hours to do manually. The technical challenges are real: anomaly detection on time-series data, LLM-powered diagnostic reasoning, safe autonomous execution with guardrails, and all of it running inside someone else's network.
The team is distributed. The founders have deep roots in database operations (Percona, VividCortex, SolarWinds). We value people who've shipped things, broken things, and fixed things at 3am.
Practitioners first
We hire people who've run databases in production, not just studied them. The best product decisions come from people who've been paged at 3am and remember what they wished they had.
Small team, big problems
Three people on the team today. Each one shapes the product directly. If you want to be employee number four or five, this is what that looks like.
Distributed by default
The team spans time zones. We optimise for async communication, clear writing, and focused deep work. Nobody's tracking your hours.
Ship and learn
We're in the design partner phase. That means real customers, real databases, real feedback loops. The distance between writing code and seeing it run against a production environment is measured in days, not quarters.
We don't have specific open roles posted right now, but we're always interested in hearing from people with deep database operations experience, AI/ML engineering backgrounds, or enterprise go-to-market expertise.
